Installed Sales and Mobile Sales Reps and 3rd party interfaces
make employees more productive, responsive and accurate.

VANCOUVER, B.C., Canada, August 15, 2007

Progressive Solutions Inc., has announced that Version 2 of its popular bisTrack software will be available November 15, 2007. Most new features will be pre-released to select customers and will be available for Preview on August 15, 2007.

The enhancements and new features in bisTrack 2.0 support the product philosophy of providing users with intelligent tools designed to take full advantage of bisTrack and its powerful capabilities to operate and analyze businesses better, maximizing human potential and return on assets.

Tools to boost productivity and performance
Included in bisTrack 2.0 are the following three productivity-boosting tools:
Personal Assistant – This unique application uses state-of-the-art Business Intelligence, Dashboard and Instant Messaging software in concert to pro-actively push data, events, key performance metrics and warnings to the desktop(s) of those who need to know.

The Dashboard Designer makes it easy to push relevant messages,
KPIs and metrics to each user’s desktop.

“It’s like having a personal assistant assigned to everyone in your company, to remind them of important tasks, let them know of events relating to their orders, and point out possible errors,” says Randy Faris, bisTrack Sales Manager. “It’s a huge time-saver and helps avoid possible customer service issues.”
Profile Designer – This companion tool allows role-based profiles to be created for each user or user group. It allows bisTrack to be tailored to the individual roles, responsibilities and goals of each user, displaying only the data, messages, tasks and metrics relevant to them.

“Instead of looking at a cluttered computer screen, all the noise that doesn’t apply to them is eliminated; they see only what they need to get their job done quickly and efficiently.” says Faris.

bisTrack’s Profile Designer creates taskpads tailored for individual users, so
they see just tasks and quick links needed to do their jobs better. (High-res)
Smart Views – With a simple right-click, a user can save the way data is defined, sorted, and displayed. Favorite reports or ways to view data look-ups can be retrieved in an instant, saving time and ensuring consistency.

Modern Sales Techniques
Three new modules in bisTrack 2.0 make sales and customer service personnel more responsive to the varied and valu-added products & services offered by many building materials dealers, even when away from the office or store.
Product Configurator – This enhanced module guides users intelligently through the creation of custom doors, windows, and other complex products, listing required components and their available options. Costing and pricing options are available by line or by finished product.
Installed Sales – This module allows users to create pricing agreements, typically for a fixed price, that combine materials and installation services. Invoicing is not tied to the shipping of goods, nor the value of the products shipped. Instead, billing is done at predetermined periods or events, and multiple billings are possible for each job providing ultimate flexibility for your Installed Sales agreements.
Mobile Sales Reps – On a Windows Mobile Smartphone, your sales reps can lookup customer information including sales history, get stock and price information, get product sales histories, and enter site visit reports. Your sales reps will be responsive even while on the road.
