Progressive Solutions Inc., of Richmond, British Columbia,
announces that it has acquired ODS Software LLC, of Federal
Way, Washington. Progressive Solutions will retain the ODS
staff, which comprises many industry veterans, and maintain
the Federal Way office, operating under the name Progressive
Solutions (U.S.A.), Inc.
ODS Software is a leading provider of supply chain management
software solutions for wholesale distributors of lumber and
building materials. The company’s solutions help to
automate processes and the flow of information for sales,
inventory management, logistics and distribution. ODS Software
has helped companies such as Weyerhaeuser maximize their investment
in supply chain management technology and drive competitive
advantage. ODS Software’s fully integrated software

The acquisition significantly strengthens Progressive Solutions’
Microsoft .NET development capabilities and the company’s
resources to meet the software and services needs of the North
American LBM supply chain. The company’s goal is to
be the dominant supplier of business software and services
to the wood products and building materials supply chain by
aggressively deploying its combined resources, now comprising
over 100 employees with unmatched industry expertise, to deliver
top-performance products and outstanding services.
Progressive Solutions will merge ODS Software’s product
line with its bisTrack™ software – also built
on Microsoft technology – to immediately enhance its
product offering with an e-business web portal for the popular
bisTrack software used by lumber and building materials (LBM)
dealers and distributors.

Steve Littlefield founded ODS
Software in 1997 after completing the sale of his software company,
Dimensions Software, to Enterprise Computer Systems of Greenville,
South Carolina. Under his leadership Dimensions was a leading
supplier of business software systems to LBM dealers.
As a newly appointed Vice President of Progressive Solutions,
Steve Littlefield comments: “The bisTrack product is a
