VANCOUVER, B.C., Canada, February 14, 2006
Progressive Solutions Inc. today announced that Riley Creek,
headquartered in Laclede, Idaho, has purchased bisTrack™
business software for its new distribution-focused division
in Denver, Colorado.
Riley Creek is one of the top 50 lumber manufacturers in North
America, and the largest in Idaho, producing 600 million board
feet of high-quality lumber from its three mills. Its new
distribution-based division will provide more products and
services to Riley Creek customers.
bisTrack helps Riley Creek expand
building products distribution
Erol Deren, Arnie Didier and Ken Koenig, industry veterans
with combined 65 years in the industry, are amongst the talent
recruited for Riley Creek’s distribution division. They
selected bisTrack software as the platform that will enable
Riley Creek to move further into the distribution stream of
building products, including its own lumber.
bisTrack is business software designed specifically for building
materials dealers, contractor yards and distributors. The
software automates all buying, selling, logistics and accounting
functions. It is unique in its approach to automate repetitive
rule-based tasks and to “push” relevant information
to users through system- and user-generated Instant Messages.
Its Microsoft® technology platform makes bisTrack easy
to use and incredibly powerful in its reporting and integration
capabilities.
bisTrack is the second business software
solution from Progressive Solutions being installed by Riley
Creek. Progressive Solutions’ Lumber Track is also being
installed for Riley Creek’s manufacturing and direct
mill sales.
