Laver & Latham order bisTrack™ business software
Totaling 440 users – Latham says the implementations of the business
  software will “allow our sales people to focus on selling!

VANCOUVER, B.C., Canada, February 17, 2005

Progressive Solutions Inc. announces today that Arnold Laver & Co. Ltd., of Sheffield, England and the James Latham plc, of Ossett, England – two of the UK’s leading lumber and building materials companies – have purchased bisTrack business software for their building materials supply companies.

David Dunmow, Group Financial Director for James Latham, remarks, “The system’s ease of use and all its features will lead to less repetitive administration and allow our salespeople to focus on actually selling!” He continues, “All of us found it refreshing to deal with a software provider who understands the lumber and building materials industry and the operational problems we face.”

The two companies joined forces to research and select business software solutions. Each was looking for a modern technology platform, and found it in bisTrack. Colin Dean, Corporate Systems Director at Arnold Laver, explains: “We were looking for a centralized computer system that would support all areas of business and integrate with our Great Plains® accounting software. We were also keen to implement a system that would allow us to introduce ‘cutting edge’ technologies such as EDI communication with suppliers, handheld devices for yard staff and, further down the line, support for RFID tags.”

After a comprehensive review of the companies’ computing needs and available software solutions, Arnold Laver and the Latham Group selected bisTrack for the following reasons:
