RICHMOND, B.C., July 19, 2004

Progressive Solutions Inc. of Richmond, BC, Canada announced today that it has successfully completed the implementation of Lumber Track™ business software throughout Potlatch Corporation’s Wood Products division.

The Lumber Track implementation project at Potlatch encompassed multiple panel and lumber product lines, three sales offices and 13 mills located in four states: Idaho, Washington, Minnesota and Arkansas. It also included the installation of Progressive Solutions’ Tag Track™ tag printing stations. Lumber Track is interfaced to Potlatch’s JD Edwards system for financial management.

Potlatch implemented Lumber Track in stages, first piloting the system at its Post Falls particle board mill, then rolling it out to the other board and lumber mills in Idaho. The second and third stages were the mills in Minnesota and Arkansas respectively.

Lumber Track replaces four different in-house and custom-built systems that had been running at different Potlatch mills which were replaced in an effort to reduce IT costs by having common systems throughout the organization.
