Progressive Solutions Inc. of Richmond, British Columbia, Canada is pleased to announce that The Australian Sawmilling Company Pty Ltd (TASCO), of Lara, Victoria, Australia, has purchased a 13-user Lumber Track business information software system for their sawmill and dimension plant.

TASCO is a producer of Australian radiata pine products used for framing lumber, decking, remanufacturing and treating. They supply the Australian domestic market and have an expanding export trade. TASCO is a member of the Dongwha Holdings Co., Ltd., a group of companies based in South Korea supplying flooring, wood-based and laminated boards.

“TASCO is a company that sees a lot of value in technology,” remarks Russ Maximuik, Senior Account Manager at Progressive Solutions. “They want to integrate information from all areas of their operation. They want to improve product costing by better tracking packs and inventory movement in their remanufacturing operation. TASCO has also purchased Crystal Reports® reporting software from Progressive Solutions to generate custom reports from Lumber Track. They will interface Lumber Track to their existing tag printing and data collection systems, as well as their accounting software.
