Progressive Solutions Inc. of Richmond, BC, Canada is pleased to announce that it has successfully completed two Lumber Track implementations using the newly introduced Express Track implementation process. A third Express Track order has been placed.

Express Track is a faster – and more affordable – way to implement Progressive Solutions’ flagship product, Lumber Track. Express Track’s time and cost savings result from:
     1. Scaling Lumber Track’s feature set to address only those functions applicable to a typical one- or
         two-site sawmill or remanufacturing operation.
     2. Using pre-configured parameters to reduce the amount of time it takes to configure and install the software.

Beadles Lumber Co., of Moultrie, GA, recently started up Lumber Track and Tag Track at its two facilities, Beadles and Balfour. The company upgraded Progressive Solutions software at Beadles and replaced a LISA system at Balfour. Total time from order to startup was only about two months.

Spray Lake Sawmills (1980) Ltd., of Cochrane, AB, also recently started up a 7-user, single-site Lumber Track system plus one Tag Track system. Spray Lake’s computer-savvy users received their training remotely using PC Anywhere.

Ryan Forest Products, of Covington, LA, is slated for the next Lumber Track implementation using Express Track with a 5-user system.
