Progressive Solutions Inc., of Richmond BC, announced today that Babcock Lumber Company of Pittsburgh, PA has purchased a full suite of integrated business software for its hardwood operations.

Babcock operates five hardwood manufacturing centers in Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Illinois and Alabama. They service customers throughout North America, Europe, and Asia with quality hardwood products including green or dry rough lumber, stair components, paneling, and other finished millwork.

The five production/warehouse facilities, plus a sales/hardwood division office in Champion, PA and Babcock's head office will all run a suite of software products from Progressive Solutions' to integrate all business functions from the log procurement to tagging and inventory control to customer shipment confirmation. The system comprises Fiber Track™, Lumber Track™ and Tag Track™ for comprehensive, integrated tracking of purchases, orders and inventory. In addition, the system includes integrated third party software for accounting, data base management and customer communications.
