Progressive Solutions Inc., of Richmond BC, has appointed Peter Ciceri to its Board of Directors.

Mr. Ciceri has an extensive background in sales, marketing and operations in the Information Technology (IT) industry, serving in key business leadership roles at companies including Rogers Telecom, Compaq Canada, Tandem, Hewlett-Packard and Unisys. While President & Managing Director of Compaq Canada he managed and executed what was, at the time, the largest IT industry merger in Canada (Compaq, Tandem and Digital Canada). He is currently Lead Independent Director for Sierra Wireless Inc., an Independent Director for MDSI Mobile Data Solutions Inc. and additionally provides senior executive coaching and mentoring services. He was named one of the top ten “IT Influencers” in Canada by the National Post in 1998 - 2000, and is an Executive in Residence at the University of British Columbia.
