RICHMOND, B.C., Canada, September 7, 2001
Progressive Solutions Inc., of Richmond, British Columbia, Canada, announced today that Triple 'A' Hardwoods Incorporated of Tillsonburg, Ontario has successfully started up its Lumber Track business software.
Triple 'A' Hardwoods operates a concentration yard for a variety of Northern and Appalachian hardwoods lumber products including kiln-dried maple, oak, ash & cherry. Their facilities include six acres of concentration yard, high capacity dry kilns capable of drying 350,000 board feet of lumber, two covered lumber inspection lines with end trim saws, and large warehouse facilities to protect kiln dried lumber.
Triple 'A' is dedicated to supplying exceptional quality hardwood lumber to discerning buyers, and to providing personal service to each of their customers. They needed a business software solution that would support their need for up-to-date inventory, sales and shipping information. In February 2001, Triple 'A' made the decision to replace their existing software from Forestry Systems with Lumber Track™ from Progressive Solutions.
Lumber Track is a comprehensive software system that integrates everything from procurement to inventory to invoicing and accounts receivable. Its reporting features provide detailed customer histories and pricing that, combined with real-time inventory information, allows sales personnel to respond quickly to customer inquiries and orders. In addition to Lumber Track, Triple 'A' also purchased LT Financials accounting software, and handheld data collection devices to speed data entry.
Dennis Rayner, Triple 'A' Hardwoods' controller, was responsible for implementing the Lumber Track system. Tim Elbers of Progressive Solutions reported, "Dennis is happy with the startup. The Triple 'A' implementation reaffirms that Lumber Track is unsurpassed for meeting the business information needs of hardwood operations."
