Progressive Solutions releases Fiber Track

RICHMOND, B.C., Canada, August 10, 2001

Progressive Solutions Inc., of Richmond BC, announced today the release of the company's newest product, Fiber Track.

Fiber Track™ software is uniquely designed to help primary producers in the forest industry improve their operations by managing log and fiber procurement, vendor contracts and settlements, inventory, and data collection in one integrated system. Initially, the product is being targeted at the sawmill market, but Progressive Solutions expects that it will be popular with pulp mills and other primary producers.

Fiber Track features easy-to-use Windows®-based screens, extensive report-writing capabilities, historical data warehousing, and compatibility with popular accounting and financial management packages. The software can also be used in conjunction with Progressive Solutions' Lumber Track™ and Mill Track™ software, so that a primary producer's entire business information system is complete - from tract management and log procurement through to shipment of dried and remanufactured wood products.

Rocky Creek Lumber Co. of Alabama is just one of the customers already on board with this new product. "We looked at numerous software packages when we decided to automate our business and Progressive Solutions' products stood out from the crowd. Fiber Track is easy to use, but still has comprehensive features. It will help us keep track of our operation, which means that we will be able to provide better service to our customers," says Randall Robinson, General Manager of Rocky Creek.

Len Williams, Progressive Solutions' president and CEO, says, "We're thrilled with the keen interest we've seen in Fiber Track. Log management is obviously very important to overall sawmill efficiency and cost-effectiveness."
