Progressive Solutions Inc., of Richmond BC, announced today that Brookville Wood Products, Inc., of Brookville, PA has purchased two lumber management software packages: Fiber Track and Lumber Track.

Fiber Track is a complete log procurement and settlement package for sawmills of all types and sizes. Lumber Track is a full-featured sales, inventory and logistics management package, ideal for single- or multiple-site sawmills and value-added producers, wholesale/brokerages and distributors.

Brookville is a customer-driven producer of hardwood lumber, green and kiln dried, operating a square mill and a dimension plant. The company is best known for its dimension products, high-quality turning squares up to 4x4 used primarily in furniture production. Their highly automated plants are amongst the most efficient in terms of yield recovery. Brookville has experienced significant growth over the past five years, and required updated inventory management software to keep pace with the growth.

Terry Stockdale of Brookville Wood Products explained, "We searched for a year, and evaluated five software providers comparing functionality and price.
