Viking Lumber standardizes on bisTrack for merged locations

Progressive Solutions Inc. is very pleased to announce that Viking Lumber of Belfast, Maine will increase the size of its bisTrack system to include a total of 105 users at 9 locations in Maine.

Viking Lumber has operated bisTrack at 5 locations since January 2008. Owner Maureen Flanagan has been pleased with bisTrack’s capabilities to provide information on demand, which has saved her a lot of time. “Anyone can drill down to great detail. The expansion follows Viking Lumber’s merger with Rhoades Building Products in late 2010, which will see the Rhoades locations re-branded as Viking Lumber. bisTrack replaces the Activant Eagle system at Rhoades. The merger creates a strong pro-dealer presence in Maine, whose common bisTrack system will provide Viking competitive advantage through its on-line customer portal Web Track and efficiencies in inventory management, order processing and financial management.
