VANCOUVER, BC (Nov. 23, 2009) – Progressive Solutions’ today announced that, for the second year in a row, it will keep its Software Assurance renewal fees at 2008 levels after its customers in the wood products and lumber and building materials (LBM) industries experienced a challenging year in 2009.
“We recognize that business was difficult this year,” said David Woodhouse, Vice President of Support Services for North America. “In light of that, we want to help our customers manage through these uncertain times by continuing to provide them with great customer service and software support they can count on.
“Over the past 12 months, we’ve made numerous improvements to the functionality and effectiveness of our software thanks in large part to the ongoing feedback and input from our customers. Holding our support fees to 2008 levels isn’t just our way of helping our customers, it’s recognition of the partnership we have with them and the important role they play in the growth of our company.”
In addition to maintaining the affordability of its renowned customer service and support, in 2009 PSI introduced secureHosting™ another cost-effective way for companies to acquire a state-of-the-art IT system with award-winning software like bisTrack™ and lumberTrack™.
Through its secureHosting service, PSI can now host a company’s IT infrastructure, bisTrack or lumberTrack software and other programs, with only an Internet connection, PCs and a local area network needed at the client company’s end. By having Progressive Solutions manage their technology requirements offsite, companies can focus their time, energy and resources entirely on their core business.
“We’re proud to provide software and support that helps companies improve their profitability in these difficult times,” said Len Williams, president and CEO, Progressive Solutions Inc.. “We’re equally proud of finding new ways to make our services more affordable to more companies as we all look forward to better times in 2010.
“Freezing our Software Assurance renewal fees for next year is just one more way of saying we appreciate your business and look forward to serving you now and in the years ahead. |
