Responsibilities:

  • Provides support for customers on software systems supplied by PSI
  • Provides support on business processes and best practices for the building materials industry 
  • Works with users and vendors to resolve issues & provide proactive support concerning the application and its use
  • Works closely with development to identify issues and improve software applications
  • Designs custom reporting/scripts/business intelligence tools based on customer requirements

Specific Skills & Personal Attributes required:

  • Experience with Retail/POS business applications 
  • Technical aptitude required; ability to write SQL scripts 
  • Exceptional written/oral communication and presentation skills
  • Strong testing and troubleshooting skills 
  • Strong analytical and business skills 
  • Ability to work as part of a team

Additional Assets:

  • Building materials Industry knowledge
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics GP 
  • Knowledge of Crystal Reports 
  • Knowledge of Windows environments including Client Server technologies
