Progressive Solutions has an approach to recruitment that ensures every individual we hire is placed in a position that will guarantee his or her success, as well as offering continued growth and development. We always strive to be fair, open and effective in our recruitment and selection.

The following provides a general overview of our recruitment process:

  1. Résumé submission All résumés must be submitted with a cover letter to Progressive Solutions online. If we are not currently looking to fill a position we are always happy to keep your resume on file.
  2. Review of Résumés Only those candidates with the correct skill sets and qualifications will be contacted.
  3. Candidates screened by phone If you are identified as a candidate whose skill sets and qualifications match the position requirements, you will be contacted by a Recruiter or HR specialist to discuss your qualifications. The information obtained during this initial screening will determine whether or not you will be forwarded for an interview.
  4. Candidate questionnaire Candidates whose skill sets and qualifications match the position requirements may be asked to complete a Candidate questionnaire. The purpose of this questionnaire is to provide you with another means to share important information about yourself – information that may not be apparent in your resume or cover letter.
  5. Select candidates interviewed The primary purpose of an interview is to assess the ability of the candidate to perform the functions of the job. The interview may contain one-on-one interviews and panel interviews.
  6. Second interview Candidates may be required to come in for a second interview and may also be required to prepare and deliver a training session or complete a skill test during the interview.
  7. Candidates notified of hiring decision Once a decision has been made by the hiring manager, all candidates will be notified by e-mail or phone of the final decision.
